There are a number of
different types of infrared cameras and all of them come with a variety of
different features and benefits. Some of the cameras that I will discuss here
are basic infrared cameras and they all have the ability to look in through the
scope of the camera, just like a normal camera, but the additional feature is
that it allows the user to look at the object in a wide range of angles so that

The original use of an

cameras come with a number of different settings so that the user can have the
infrared light come in as close as they want it to and it will not even be
noticed. This is done in order to have the person to be able to focus on just
the thing they are interested in. The other setting allows the infrared light
to come in just a little bit farther away so that it is able to penetrate a
wider area.
The other great feature
of these cameras is that they come with a number of different image formats
that are put onto the camera for the user to choose from. There are black and
white images, which are typically considered to be the most effective images for
doing things like night vision. Also, there are some different type of color
infrared images which can be a lot better than regular color images for some
users.
Next, there are thermal
cameras. These cameras have the ability to see in the infrared spectrum which
is similar to being able to see in the ultraviolet spectrum. They are typically
used for surveillance purposes and they can be very useful in seeing if there
is anything below them that needs to be checked out.
There are some cameras
that come with software that can be installed onto the camera. This software is
then able to allow the user to have more control over the camera and how it
functions. If this software has been properly installed, then it should make it
much easier for the user to use the camera and more efficient as well.
Another great feature
of these cameras is that they have the ability to go infrared without needing
to purchase an entirely new camera. These newer models have all of the features
of the older models but have had the infrared light added onto the front of the
camera to allow the user to see what they are looking at. These newer models
are also much more durable than the older models.
There are many
different types of cameras that are used for surveillance purposes. It can be
difficult to decide which camera would be best for the particular situation.
